From 2009 to 2012, we rented a house in East Nashville from Carter Realty, leaving only to buy a house of our own. Mike Carter was extremely helpful throughout that time. Right from the start he went out of his way for us, helping us sign a lease by fax before we arrived in town. We loved that Carter Realty gave us the ability to schedule electronic payments for rent through their website, so we could set it up and forget about it. Mike was a very caring and conscientious property manager as well, and would very quickly schedule whatever experts might be required for maintenance on the property as soon as we let him know about the need. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carter Realty to other tenants or property owners.

I've rented from other property management companies, but Carter Realty is easily at the top of my list when it comes to taking care of their tenants. Mike made the moving-in process as pleasant as possible, and whenever there was a need for maintenance, repair, or pest control, he had someone at my apartment usually within 24-48 hours, which is a treat compared to how long I've had to wait in the past at other complexes and rental units. I imagine Carter Realty has quite a few repeat tenants; if the tenant respects and takes care of the unit, then Carter Realty will respect and gladly take care of the tenant. If I am ever in need of housing or a reference in the future, they will be the first (and maybe only) place I call.

My family and I moved from Memphis, TN in Dec of 2013 and we were looking for a house to rent because we didn't know what part of the Nashville area we would be working. Anyway the house we rented from Carter realty was a wonderful house, spacious and a great rental price for the size. Mike and his company stayed on top of things all the time. They were easy to work with and very professional, I didn't have very many issues with the house we rented but when I did they did a top notch job and in a very timely fashion. I had a tall order - I needed a loft downtown that was fully furnished, affordable, and willing to rent for a short term lease, and Mike provided! My coworker stayed in the space (which was beautiful and very well maintained) and thoroughly enjoyed his time there. My husband and I had the privilege of getting to know Mike Carter when we rented a condo from his realty company Carter Realty! We had sold our house in Chattanooga and were moving back to Nashville and needed to find something very quickly to rent. With the high demand in the Nashville market we were running out of options. Thankfully, a beautiful condo in Green Hills opened up and Mike helped us get in the condo to see it and all papers signed as the moving trucks were coming the next day! Mike, was so kind, professional and helpful! He even took care of all the details of getting the condo cleaned and ready for us while going into surgery early the next morning! My husband and I rented the condo for a year and Mike and his management team were incredible to work with! They have a wonderful and convenient process for putting maintenance request on line and paying rent on line. Mike was very attentive and addressed the maintenance issues very quickly. He sent someone very trustworthy to handle the request. Mike, gets back to you very promptly and is always considerate, professional and provides his tenants with amazing customer service! We enjoyed our time in the condo and Mike Carter with Carter Realty was a big reason why! Mike, was a pleasure to work with and really helped us In our transition!
